How do I cancel my cloud subscription?Updated 2 months ago

We'd be happy to walk you through how to cancel your Legacybox Cloud subscription.

As a heads up, the cancellation of your Legacybox Cloud account will result in the permanent deletion of your files from our secure servers once your subscription ends.

We’d be sorry to see you go. Many of our customers have expressed feeling peace of mind knowing we have their files safely stored. Plus you can log in anytime to view, download or share. That way if anything happens to your disc set, thumb drive or computer/hard drive, we’d have you covered! 

If you'd still like to cancel, follow the steps below: 

  1. To start, click here to log into Legacybox Cloud.
  2. Once logged in, click "My Account" (the person icon) in the navigation
    1. TIP: On desktop and tablet devices, this is located at the top of the page. On mobile devices, this is located at the bottom of the page. 
  3. Click "Subscription Details" (the second option under "Account Details" 
  4. Click the "Yes I want to cancel" button. 
  5. Follow the prompts. 
  6. Once completed, you'll see a "Your plan has been canceled" confirmation screen. 
    1. TIP: This will detail when you'll loose your Legacybox Cloud access. 

Please note: If you purchased using ShopPay (i.e. a pre-saved Credit Card through Shopify), the steps to modify your subscription are different. Please see below. 


How do I cancel my cloud subscription if I used ShopPay?


To view your subscription orders 

To view your subscription orders with Shop Pay, you need to sign in to Shop through a web browser.

Steps:

  1. On a web browser, sign in to Shop.

  2. Do one of the following:

  • If you have a Shop passkey stored on your device, then select the passkey icon in the email field and follow the prompts to authenticate your account.
  • Enter your email address and follow the prompts to verify your account using a six-digit code sent to your email.
  1. In the Active orders section, click the subscription order that you want to view.


Edit your subscription order payment method

You can change the Shop Pay card that you use to pay for your subscription order by either choosing another card, or by adding a new card to Shop Pay.

Steps:

  1. In the Active orders section, click on the subscription order that you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to your subscription details, and then click Edit payment method.
  3. Do one of the following:
  • Choose an existing card on your Shop Pay account, and then click Update.
  • Click + Use a different card to add a new card to Shop Pay.
  1. Click Update.


Remove Shop Pay as a payment method from your subscription

You can remove Shop Pay as a payment method from your subscription order.

Steps:

  1. In the Active orders section, click on the subscription order that you want to remove Shop Pay from.
  2. Scroll down to your subscription details, and then click Edit payment method.
  3. Click Remove Shop Pay to remove your payment method from your subscription, and then click Remove Shop Pay again to confirm.
  4. Optional: To manage your subscription, you need to visit the online store that you purchased from. Removing Shop Pay as a payment method doesn't cancel your subscription order.
